Nicolas is the founder and CEO of EPIMOD. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of monitoring, statistical analysis, and modelling of the transmission of infectious diseases. He holds a PhD in statistical and mathematical epidemiology from the University of Lyon.
Tchaa Abalo Bakaï, MD, MPH, PhD
Tchaa Abalo is in charge of our projects in Africa. He specialises in malaria control and response to epidemics. He is a medical doctor (University of Bamako), and holds a master of public health (program evaluation) from Clermont Auvergne University and a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Lyon.
Anne Thomas, MPH, PhD
Anne is an epidemiologist and biostatistician. She has extensive experience in project management and applied research (data collection, statistical analysis) in the field of public health, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a master of public health (international health) from the University of Bordeaux, and a PhD in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Lyon.
Julien Flaig, PhD
Julien specialises in the development and numerical simulation of infectious disease transmission models, with applications to health economics and the optimization of public health interventions. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Lyon.
Mélodie Leconte, PhD
Mélodie’s expertise spans community interventions and public health management in sub-Saharan Africa. Her professional experience includes human resources management (staffing, incentivisation, retention), and marketing (customer behaviour) and communication. She holds a PhD in management from Paris Nanterre University.
